Copyright and Takedown Policy

This process explains how rights holders can report media and how photographers can respond when a restriction may be mistaken.

Last updated September 22, 2026

1. What this process covers

OlaClip respects copyright and related rights in photographs and videos. This process can also be used to flag image-rights, privacy, impersonation, or unauthorized-commercial-use concerns, although different legal rules may apply to those reports.

2. Submit a report

Email support@olaclip.com with the subject "Copyright report." To help OlaClip act quickly, include all available information below. Knowingly false reports may cause harm and may create legal responsibility.

  • Your full name, contact email, and relationship to the rights holder.
  • A description or link identifying the original protected work or other right at issue.
  • The exact OlaClip session URL and enough detail to identify each reported photo or video.
  • Why you believe the use is unauthorized or unlawful, including relevant dates or permissions.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the complained-of use is not authorized.
  • A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act for that person.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

3. OlaClip review

OlaClip may request clarification, preserve evidence, temporarily restrict access, notify the uploader, and remove or restore material based on the available facts and applicable law. Urgent safety or privacy risks may be restricted before the uploader responds.

OlaClip may share the report and contact details with the uploader or relevant service providers when reasonably necessary to investigate. Tell us about a specific safety concern before submitting information that should not be shared.

4. Uploader response

An uploader who believes material was restricted by mistake may email support@olaclip.com with the subject "Takedown response." Include your identity, the affected media, proof of ownership or authorization, the reason the report is mistaken, a statement that the response is accurate and made in good faith, and your signature.

OlaClip may forward the response to the reporter and may restore access when the evidence supports restoration and no legal restriction prevents it. The parties may be asked to resolve disputed ownership through the competent authority or court.

5. Repeat and serious violations

OlaClip may suspend or terminate users who repeatedly infringe rights or submit fraudulent reports. A single serious violation may also justify immediate restriction. Decisions consider the evidence, context, severity, and applicable law rather than relying only on the number of reports.

6. Other legal requests

For court orders, law-enforcement requests, or formal legal notices, email support@olaclip.com and clearly identify the issuing authority, legal basis, requested records, deadline, and official contact. OlaClip will preserve or disclose information only as permitted or required by law.
