Refund and Download Policy
This policy explains how digital delivery will work, what happens when a file cannot be delivered, and when customers may request a refund or other remedy.
Last updated September 22, 2026
1. Beta status
OlaClip does not collect or process payment during the beta. A selection request saves the selected media, displayed amount, and order reference without requiring a customer account, email address, or phone number. A photographer may separately arrange direct payment and manually unlock a delivery after confirming receipt.
Because OlaClip does not hold the funds, the photographer who received a direct payment is responsible for receipts, cancellations, refunds, and payment disputes under the agreement with the customer and applicable law. OlaClip can help investigate access or file-delivery problems but cannot reverse a direct transfer.
2. Information shown before payment
Before live checkout, OlaClip will display the selected files, seller or provider identity, total price, currency, fees and taxes, delivery method, payment method, and any legally permitted restriction on withdrawal. The customer will receive an electronic order confirmation after payment.
3. Digital delivery
After the photographer confirms direct payment and unlocks the selection, originals become available through the customer’s private order page. The photographer may also share a separate delivery link through the parties’ existing communication channel. Download access may expire or be locked for security or dispute handling. Expiration does not by itself cancel a valid license; contact the photographer or support with the order reference to request help.
Customers should keep the order reference and a backup after download. Photographers must keep their own originals because OlaClip is not intended to be the only archive.
4. When a refund or remedy is available
- The same order was charged more than once.
- The purchased original cannot be delivered and OlaClip cannot correct delivery within a reasonable time.
- The delivered file is corrupt, is the wrong file, or materially differs from the purchased preview or description and cannot be replaced.
- A payment was unauthorized, subject to reasonable identity and fraud review.
- Applicable law grants a cancellation, withdrawal, warranty, or other remedy that cannot be excluded.
5. Change-of-mind requests
Digital media can be copied once delivered. When Chilean law permits a provider to exclude a change-of-mind withdrawal right for an electronic contract, any exclusion will be stated clearly before payment. OlaClip will not rely on a hidden or retroactive exclusion.
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory legal rights. Even where a change-of-mind refund is unavailable after successful delivery, OlaClip will still remedy duplicate charges, non-delivery, defective files, and other legally protected cases.
6. How to request help
Email support@olaclip.com with the order reference, affected file, and a short description. Report a delivery or file problem promptly, preferably within 10 calendar days, so the media and transaction can be investigated. This preferred reporting period does not shorten a longer statutory right.
OlaClip may first replace the file, restore access, or correct the charge when that resolves the issue. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever possible. Bank or payment-provider posting times are outside OlaClip control.
7. Chargebacks and abuse
Contact OlaClip before filing a payment dispute when practical so delivery issues can be corrected quickly. Fraudulent refund requests, false chargebacks, or continued use of refunded media may result in account restriction and lawful recovery action.
